power shuts off rc??

i was driving my firestorm and i flipped it 3 times but it was running good after that. then it just stops and i can't steer nor accelerate? there was no power what so ever and the on switch was switched to on. i took out the batteries and there were full of dirt i cleaned em and then power was back on how can i prevent this from happening again? also water had gotten in there. and one spring got a lil corroded.should i just seal the batteries with something? i want to prevent a run away nitro! thanx for reading.:whhooo:

You need to replace the aa's with a hump pack, the stay charged alot longer, and put more power out to your servo's, they usually run about 12-15 bux on ebay.

Put pack in a balloon, seal it up with a zip tie or wire tie.
