thanks for the info, and no, performance is and engine life is more important! maybe that is a look i will pull off the day i have duel engines! :)

here is my older .15 Maxx. I bought it last november with a .15 pro which blew up the following day..lol
The only thing i have added to the truck since i have bought it is the body. Right now i'm looking into a 2.5 or 3.3 for the truck

Figured I'd throw this in aswell....The Motor Saver filter seems to of made a nice increase in performance on the top end....I couldn't find my temp gun today so I only messed with the truck for about 10 minutes. Made a few passes rich and leaned it out about half a turn from 4 out on the HSN and made one more pass and when it hit second gear it took off like a bat outa hell.

Also figured I'd throw this out there for any noobs like myself....Pay attention to how you took your diffs off and make sure you put em on the same way....I recommend marking them before you take em off or you will be taking the truck back apart to turn them right side up....lol

What kind of chassis braces are those? Didn't you get new hinge pins for the a-arms?

Mine, not long before it's last make-over.

There were no new hinge pins included with any of the RPM stuff other than the small ones for the rear knuckles...I ordered the set of spare hinge pins that they tell you to order but those were to short so I just used the stock ones.

The chassis braces are RC Ravens...They are decent, I had to grind a bit off the front ends cause they were rubbing the steering posts.

Hey Override, some very nice choices of upgrades. I too am mid upgrade with a very similar parts list. I do suggest some new hinge pins. the stock Traxxas ones are just too weak. I bought the Lunsford titanium pins. I've heard many good things about them and their guaranteed for life against bending or breaking! $18 at tower hobbies for the full set front and rear.

Thanks for the compliments ;-)

Thanks for the advice on the hinge pins, for $18 and a lifetime gaurantee you can't beat that!

@2revo1maxx - Did you modify your rig components to where they are now or is that how the maxx came at one point in time?

I've made it almost completly waterproof too. left the stock shock towers on kuz the cage protects it. kept stock bulks as my "breaking point" but the cage holds it all together so well there is no breaking point. lol this thing is a tank
