Nedlynitro I found my Hummer body on Tower about a year ago. I have the shorter Maxx they do not make one for the extended Maxx. It is made by Proline.

Yah, i have watched over many webs waiting to catch a good h1 or humvee, almost got one a while aho but someone snatched up haven't seen it since, all i see are h2, but I'm sure i find one eventually, one on ebay right now but they want almost 80$ for it HA! Considered the school bus, paint it camo and run it in the mud :)

some very cool ideas there nedlynitro! I'm loving the mad max kinda body you got there. Are the spikes on the hood holding your body on somehow?

Nope, actually, i love my roll cage, witch is what it is, but i don't like how my bodies fit over the roll cage, so i took an extra body i had, and cut plastic to fit parts of the roll cage, just as a test cause i want to make one with the same affect but with thin sheet metal like on the underneath, it is a normal roll cage, with plastic put onto it to provide cover and give it look, made with plastic, zip ties, loctite 414, camo duct tape, screws, just took some measurments and started building, made the roll cage so that the front is easily detachable, lifts up and stands up on the back gives access to the truck, the spikes were just decoration at the time, the silver shafts in the back, i added to help with it rolling, they are form a tri-pod led light that broke, they are the legs made to fit and are also removable, just measuring and designing, all it really is is the roll cage made to look like a body.....

I don't know about other roll cages, but mine hooks to the front and back, at the bumper brackets, pretty much hook to the halfs that hold in the diff's, most take a screw and nut witch i found a pain, so i modded that so it is a easy remove, going to have vids here soon, also some great idea's with pictures all homemade mods!

And it is rugged too, i have nothing but rock walls to tiny rocks up and down the drive way, this thing flips and slides down the driveway on the rocks and everything the camo duct tape laughs :) very rugged not just for looks, the spikes were just a little extra, scare the opponents :) I'm going to take the roll cage and make another more professional, with thin sheet metal and either rivets, or if i can weld it without it eating up the metal i will do that, the entire underneath has skids made from a no trespassing sign, only in the picture you only see the two skids, it has all just weren't on at the time.

I'm going to have some good stuff for you guys soon, like nice home designed lifts, wideners, 4-wheel turn, tips and tricks, alot of new people to the maxx's, want to give it hop-ups and customize, but do not want to wait or can't afford the parts, want ways to customize there maxx's with things they have at home, so I'm going to do that up, have many idea's, and millions of supplies everyone has in there house, if not you can find what you need in the 69' car stereo thats down in the junk yard, "back yard maxx's" represent only for this forum, this forum is the best, thanks rc talk, not crowded, not abandoned, plenty simple and just right :)

Wow, nice work! I can see the dollars all over that thing!

Those are some insane rigs, what all does it take to get and run the nos? I could never fix my rig up like that, looks like alot of money, plus i only run my maxx off road, would not do me any good to fancy it. They are crazy though, why no super charger?

That nos bottle is for show. Nos and super chargers are gimmicks. They don't work. And that Maxx just isn't fancy. It's upgraded in all the key areas to hold up to some harsh bashing. Radio Rat goes all out as well. If it isn't built to the hilt, he doesn't want it.:)

Yeah i have heard the nos and super chargers weren't worth it, although i did see vids of some super chargers doing pretty good for a second gear kick, i bash mine a little but aluminum does me no good, we have rocks everywhere, being in mane, but i do like how they look, and if i ever make a street rig or something for the sand i will go with the aluminum...

I saw a 3.3 with a supercharger on youtube. It was running pretty good, smoke, and power.......about as much power as my 3.3 had with just a THS pipe and byron 25% fuel :hehe:
