after my rc10gt rtr has been running a while, it is almost impossible to restart. Could this be because i didnt break it in properly, and the piston is too loose in the sleeve, causing a loss of compression? I can feel that it is easier to pull the starter cord. I followed the breakin proceedures to the T. Ideas?

How hot is the engine running? If it's too hot/lean, the engine will be very resistant to restarting until it cools. And if it's easier to pull, I would assume a compression loss. That could be due to a worn piston/sleeve or perhaps a compression leak from the head or glow plug.

If you're running the AE motor, lean running will end up in quick death. They aren't the most "longest lasting" of the bunch. :)

I had this problem with my M-16 for a while. I found that completely flooding it, and then yanking away at it will get it to start up again...

but, then again, that's my 60 dollar throw away motor.:D
