Here's my SAVAGE X,

Modified throttle linkage

easy access to battery for charging

stirring damper left

battery indicator

engine XTM 28 6port, SH cooling head, HPI carburator and all bearing change to AVID bearings

Savage xl hump back wont turn on!!need help

Hi i was driving my XL around today and i hit a pole straight on not going very fast though.My truck was still running but i couldnt turn or go forward.When i try to turn my hump pack switch on it doesn't turn on??HELP!!

Wow, that's a sweet looking truck, considering its unobvious age.
I really like the look of its exhaust system too.

Thanks a lot man! Yea It's a Savage 21 I got back in 2002 I believe and it still has many original parts, including the servos which I need to upgrade the steering asap. Also have the S-25 in it, 3 shoe clutch, spider gear mod, graphite tvp's and the Tsais side pipe along with other things.

Went off to college and never touched it during the last 4 years. The big joes I had disintegrated so I picked up the new wheels and tires to give the truck that blacked out look and love it.

Sure have missed this hobby.

Eh, well then, welcome home!! Great to be back to something we love and miss. Congrats first on developing yourself into a fine young gentleman though.
That's indeed a sweet looking truck there, but RC models have developed and grown quite a lot over this last 4 years too.
Going into our LHS, we see all the new stuff and it must be overwhelming for many. The grand choices seem nearly endless, the variety goes to infinity...
Cheaper models too...
