I've often wondered myself. Maybe one of these days I'll get another and run it stock before upgrading. Then again maybe not.
 
damn,when I look at all those pictures it makes me wanna again buy savage but this time X 4.6,I use to have the first version...
It was okay but not the best truck I have ever owned,maybe new Savage's are better?

Yeah. The new savages are WAY better than the older ones.

just bought a savage ss today, with xl chassis and 5.2 axel engine, can't wait for it to arrive, feel i have a new lease of life haha

hope the savage is as good as you all say it is, as thats why i bought one

Here is my savage at the track from Saturday
How do you fill the fuel tank? Hole in the body or do you take it off to fill it? Got a photo of the body on the truck?

Smart Temp Fail-safe. I have it velcro'd to the side of the role bar. With the cover on I can read the engine and battery stats through the window; with the cover off I can pull the fail-safe off it's mount so I don't have to tip the truck on its side to read the screen.
 
I guess I can bump this thread along with a pic of my Christmas build almost done.

The bathroom is the only place with some decent light besides the garage and it is coooooold out there.
