cool. good luck man with dremel!! it makes a huge difference.
leave the conrod alone. had a friend tried to "knife" edge the conrod. it snapped and shot through the bottom of the block.

Is there a site that gives you a step by step process on how to do this? Or can someone help me out? Thanks~Andy

Yeah actually, THIS site gives you the step by step process, so hopefully I dont screw this up :trashed:

Question: When an engine is "turbo," that's because it's ported? I was never quite sure when I saw a turbo engine or something like that.

turbo glow plugs are longer than standard glow plugs. Just because an engine is port and polished doesn't mean its "turbo"...yet. You would also need a turbo head so the turbo plug would fit into the socket the right way.

havent got to it yet actually, lol i havent had time, tonight I'm going to work on it. I've just never had 3 hrs to spare to get this done.

Turbo, as in Hyper 21 turbo, refers to a turbine shaped fan in the crankcase, spinning with the crank shaft. It is supposed to boost air flow through the engine. Nitro engines with turbo plugs are sometimes called turbo or turbo head. Ported engines are not called turbo that I know of. And outside of rc, turbo means turbocharged, which is an exhaust driven compressor that forces extra air into an engine. But turbo can also refer to turbine, when talking about aircraft, as in turbo-prop. That is a turbine engine powered propeller aircraft. And the last thing I can think of is the GM automatic transmission, called the turbo-hydramatic, known as a turbo 200, turbo 400, etc. Got that?

I understand turbo as far as cars and all, but had no idea what a turbo head or turbo plug was in the RC world.
