Today, the weather was just right. My RCs had been sitting idle for too long. Soooo, I took my pneumonia ridden arse outside for the fresh air that only nitro can produce.

Here a couple of shots of the beasts before their runs:

They both ran like they had just been parked. No problems.

I owe the site a write up on the Pipe on the Savage and the Spinners on the Maxx...that will have to wait pending some tweaking for best spinner performance.

But you get the idea, I got my fix, and now my pneumonia has nitro fumes to contend with.

I think I can die a happy man.

Make sure WoodiE has a raffle for your stuff!

:)

Get well, shipman.

That's an order.

Hey I had Pneumonia when i was seven, i had to have x-rays on me chest every week and other stuff i can't remember

Nice rides Sky! I'v never had Pneumonia so stay ur distance! Where is ur distance anyway? I live in Northeast Nebraska by Omaha. Where'd u get those fat cat tires????

I'm betting there aren't a whole lot of beaches near Omaha...so you should be safe. I live in Virginia Beach.

The tires on the Savage are a set of IMEX JumboMaxx Claw Dawgz.

Sorry to hear your not feeling well Sky, hope you have a speedy recovery man, that fresh nitro air should help though!

Hey SKyy....

Anyone that goes and runs their trucks in cold weather with phucking pneumonia (of all things) is my kind of hardcore rc dude. I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on the bling-bling spinners...lol. I wouldn't be caught dead running chrome or spinners on my real caras and trucks but I ironacly love that kind of chit on my rc cars and trucks.

Peace

LOL...There was any doubt as to my hardcore-ness?

I'm not much on spinners, but was asked to review them. So far, they look nifty on the ride. Have to tweak the bearings a bit to get better spinner action out of them. The manufacturer changed his methodology after I was already sent these. So I need to get my set to match his new process, for a better and more accurate review. When I am done, there should be a nice write up with pics and some video.

Sounds cool SKyy. I was curious as to how they'd hold up off-road more then anything. Ya gotta love that RC Bling-BLING..hehe.

Ciao

From what I can tell you now, they will hold up to a bash session, but will not look so bling after an offroad run...at least not the way I drive.
