Pluged battery in esc wrong ports

So my son plugged in the wrong battery to the ESC ports on his remote control car and now the battery or the ESC is responding to the motor so he can play with it how do I fix

Do you mean he plugged it in backwards possibly, as in reverse polarity? Does the ESC give you a power light to verify it's getting power at all?

No light on at all power to the fan and power to the motar as far as couple bee'ps.that all power
