So my lrp 32 should be here this week and I was told to break in with r3 and then switch to r5

All I can find is N3 and n5 plugs..

I know the number difference but what about the letters? ?

Thanks guys

Here’s your R5 plug, unfortunately it looks like they are out of the R3 plug. Every manufacturer has their own number system, most are similar but just different in name only. If by “N” plugs your referring to those cheap plugs on Amazon or ebay, don’t even waste your time with those. They are cheap, crappy glow plugs that are inferior in every way to a name brand plug.
Here is another option

Both these plugs are medium plugs and will work just fine for break in. Might have to bump up your idle a tiny tiny bit with these but that’s it, either way they will work fine.

And I've ran those "cheap crappy" plugs right along side os 8s and no difference could be felt ?

I'm only being critical right now cause my new. 32lrp coming I have some good money in it and wanna do it right for my FLM build

Haha If you ordered 5-6 plus you should be good for a freaking year my friend. Break in CAN be hard on plugs, but no joke I’ve never had to actually change one after break in. I’ve done it, but it’s because I’ve been told to do it and just run a fresh plug after the break in process. But even so after break in with a proper tune, you’re plug should last quite a while depending on how often you run.

I run pretty often. And I'm not hard on my vehicles. I just purchased 5,6 new ones and some big blocks too, and everything needs to be broken in during the next few weeks so I wanted to make sure I had everything I needed..

Do the lrps come with a glow plug?

Maybe I was being harsh about those N plugs, but honestly I’ve been around HSP products and it would just scare me to run that plug, when for a few bucks more I could run an LRP plug or Dynamite plug, both of which would be manufactured by SH engines which, wait for it.... manufactures the LRP Engine brand and will work perfectly in your new .32. Maybe the “N” plugs would too and I shouldn’t have knocked them. I also mentioned those 2 plus( LRP and dynamite) because I’ve used both for many gallons in my dynamite .28 with excellent results.

Nice my friend, I’m not hard on any of my vehicles and run them when possible, which is not often but I feel that. Let me double check on whether they come with a plug or not.

Haha it's all good man. You know what works and you stick with it and there's nothing wrong with that!
