hi everbody. I'm new to nitro rc cars and bought one for my son for xmas and built it myself. it a acme nitro condor after alot of hassle finally got it to start but stripped the spurr gear. got a new spurr gear fitted it got it started but the dam thing only goes backwards. can some one please tell me why this is happening

not sure of the car cuz I'm not familiar with it but the things i can come up with are differentials are in backwards or the engine is running backwards

Never heard of this RC so these are stabs in the dark. Is the transmission stuck in reverse? try flipping the channel that controls your reverse servo (typically channel 3)? If the motor has a roto start make sure you are spinning it clockwise to start it. Thats about all I can think of atm.

how do you start the engine? if the differentials are in backwards you just flip em over. does it have reverse?

as far as i can see it has no reverse
