Hello, this may, and probably is a dumb question, but it would be EXTREMELY helpful if anyone knew what size differential shims fit an associated MGT 3.0. Even a suggestion of any kind would be helpfully because I am at a loss. I am asking you guys because associated customer service basically told me to F off when I asked them. I had no idea what I was doing when I bought this thing from what I thought was a good brand. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You.

It's a very good brand and one of the best IMHO. I've never shimmed any diff on any truck (MGT 8.0, Savage XL, Tmaxx pro .15) but it can't hurt. Just go on the associated site and search for diff shims and I'm sure you'll find them.

Own a MGT 4.6 and its the best MT I've ever had. I did however go thru alot of similar frustration while working out the bugs with the rig (Diffs bieng 1 of them). The 4.6 takes .060" shims. I dont know if theyre the same as a 3.0

Thanks for the help guys, I hope mine ends up being a decent rig once the issues are all sorted out. However I have searched the parts catalog and there website and they don't seem to have any for my MGT, but that could be because they are simply labeled by part number and not by dimensions or model specific. They also told me on the phone that they didn't have any so, I don't know what else to do.
