how do i remove the piston sleeve from my blown engine. its half way out and its stuck.

VB

Okay you've removed the back plate and head right? You say its stuck? Hmmmmmm..Pliers and some oil to get it unstuck maybe, if its blownt hen its okat to mess up the sleeve IMO.

I'm with WL. If its trash, grab onto the sleeve with a pair of channel locks and gently twist back and forth while pulling on it. Just be sure not to skuff up the block or the new sleeve won't seat correctly.

the easiest way I've found is take a zip ties and take the big end and put it between the piston and one of the ports then letr the piston do all the work turn the crank shaft and the piston should push it right out.

Just apply some heat, & she'll loosen up like a cheap........... well, you know.....

HA IB...if the sip tie don;t work, try IB's method. I just crank it over till i see a hole in the sleeve, jam a zip tie in there, and turn it over.. up it goes. Never had a nasty one tho.
