I have a XXX-NT and i want to make it the baddest thing on the street so wat do u guys suggest i buy so far i have new shock springs and thats about it...lol so wat do u guys think and I'm gonna race it in tournies on dirt.

Are these "tournies" sanctioned races? What type rules are governing these races?

Find a track and wear out 5-6 sets of tires, replace 8-10 a-arms, burn 3-4 gallons of fuel, then buy a new engine so you can join your first race.

Other then that, Get everything you can in aluminum, it look cool.

alum. makes it go faster as well.
LOL so does tethering it to the rear end of your car and towing it in the freeway!

If you are looking for BLING go with Eds suggestions. The Aluminum I will stay away from as one good crash can hurt your wallet.

arawalk stf^ aluminum doesn't make ur car u dumbass u should never race nitro again.

should i buy gralhite arms and shock towers or aluminum becaz I'm gonna race and i would think graphite becaz they are lighter

The best thing to do is to research what the racers are using. You will see that most RCs have a consumer model usually an RTR then they have the race models usually a team or factory team or pro model.

Look to see the difference between them and you will know what the best upgrades are. If you are serious about racing, it time for you to learn how to do some serious research. If you just ask for the answer you wont learn a damn thing.

Well, after fasteddy's post... i dont' want to say this..

haha

do not put the graphite on that truck unless you are seriously racing.
it does break to easy.
I broke a rear a-arm on my xxxnt, and the LHS was out of the plastic ones.
I bought the graphite one, and of course, I broke it this past weekend.

hahaha

it happens.

Its a great post to make after mine.
It just goes to show you that asking what the BEST is can't be answered easily. This is ware research comes in. A beginning racer has different needs then a more accomplished racer.
