ok i tore the rear end of my Savage apart to replace the bearing on the rear diff...and since the book dosent give you very good pictures on how to reinstall it.. i was wondering of some one can get me pictures of the rear of there savage X 4.1.. i can't seem to figure out how to get it all put back together and where things go.. it was a couple weeks ago i took it apart also! i wanna get it up and goin again.. i miss driving it!

What part exactly are you needing to see. Are you are needing diff install pictures? If that is the case then you are in luck because I currently have mine torn down so I could get some for you. It would be later today before I could get them but I'd be happy to help out.

i need to see how evrything goes back on.. and the purple piece.. kinda looks like a dogbone i can't seem to remember where that piece goes... id love to see pictures of you reinstalling everytihgn to where it is complete and driveable!

ok i got it all fixed and driving again.. only to get a hole in the fuel tank... and now i have fuel all over the rear of the truck.. will it be save to spray it with some brake clean alont the engine and alone the back of the truck to get the oil off of it?

well i thought id give it a shot.. and it dident melt anything.. so far so good..

should i look for a new fuel tank or can i just patch the hole on the one i have with some JB weld?

go with a new tank..

where did it get a hole at? if its in the rear by the shock tower, you may need to flip the screw around that holds the shock on the tower. it will punch the tank every time..
