My boys were outside running their slashes and since Joey's football season ended a few weeks ago I was jonesing to take some action shots. So I grabbed the old 50d and went out to snap a few, here's a few of the shots I got.

Wow, what great shots! Sand and gravel spittin' everywhere. What was your shutter speed?

I had my 50D set to av mode (aperture priority), I was using my EF 70-200 2.8 lens, set at 2.8, and in the bright sun I was getting shutter speeds between 6000 and 8000 of a second in order to freeze the action.
