Picked up a engine on ebay

Well, in the description he states that it may need a rebuild. I would have to agree. Look at the discoloration in the head. That sucker has been over heated many many times. Fade is normal but that's almost grey. It'll produce great power if you get a new piston and sleeve for it.

I emailed the guy and ask what the internals looked like.....I dont wanna pay $70 for a engine then pay $120 for a new piston and sleeve...I can get it new for $275....So I'm hoping all it needs is a pinch...He also said it had about 4 gallons through it
 
The C5 is a nice engine, but I'll not buy that one, you might invest your money in something more new.
