picked a lil something up today...

at the LHS a guy had them order this body, and it had been 4 months since they had it and he never came and got it, so they put it on shelve with all the other bodies and it caught my eye.
I'm finishing up the decals and ill put pics up in a lil bit, but i have to go in to the LHS tomorrow and get chrome spray for the stacks and fuel tank

any recommended brand for chrome?
and clear too i want that?

I'm pretty satisfied with my first paint job
I'm sure the more i look at it, the more imperfections i will notice and it will just bum me out. so i am not going to look at it
I'm going to get a gray autobot decal for the rear so its like ironhide

the LHS store guy said it would fit my 2.5, but it doesn't seem like it will
i might buy a 3.3 chassis and swap it out, because they are longer right?
how much does a chassis usually cost?
i probably wont be driving this body for a while anyways, I'm too scared to wreck it

did i really misspell that?
or did u use your mod powers and change it for fun?

Yup, you did. I didn't need any special powers for that. Besides, the federation has forbidden me to use my powers for anything other than the good of all mankind other than abusing members that post typos.

Looks like a good price on that chassis kit, the only thing you might need is 3.3 drive shafts being a longer chassis.

Nice looking body by the way - I seen a C4500 the other day, they are just awesome looking.

i will need longer shafts, but are all those parts necessary? because there is a kit that comes with just chassis and rails for a 11 bucks
the LHS guy thought all i need was the chassis, chassis rails, and drive shafts

btw i have 3 of 4 parts for the drive shaft, 2 outer, 1 inner
i dont really want to buy a whole other set for one peice,
any one have the one I'm missing

I use a Dremel with a sanding drum to remove the jaggies from my shells as was suggested by one of the painting gurus here. Another hint is to cut and drill the mounting holes while it's unpainted because it's lot easier to see everything.

You'll need the front driveshaft and break parts. Other than that, everything else can be used.

well the 3.3engine i swapped in it is not wanting to cooperate with the breaking in process so i have to contact traxxas
