Hello guys,
I am new to all this, but recently I am thinking of getting a rc nitro car.

What do you think about HPI NITRO RS4 MT2 G3.0 ?

It looks pretty then most of them out there, but its good for racing ang jumping? Does it durable? Can I get parts for it easily if necessary if needed?

Sorry in advance if those are stupid question. Like I said, I am new...

Thanks in advance.

I have 1 that I rebiult for my father in law that I gave to him for christmas. It has treated him well so far but is a bit underpowered for my tastes. If you are a noob than it should be a good starter vehicle for you. Ebay had a ton of aftermarket still available for it. Havent seen him do much jumping yet but he has bashed it pretty hard thru the yard and it takes the beating quite well.

In my thought's
1. HPI
2. TRAXXAS
3. Team Associated
4. Thunder Tiger
5. Duratrax
6. Axial

I own 2 TRAXXAS Rigs
T-MAXX 2.5 & Nitro 4-Tech 3.3 On road car

1 HPI Rig
Bullet 3.0 MT

Just got in my garage
Thunder Tiger Nitro Buggy & Axial Wraith
I pretty much for 95% of the time I buy HPI / TRAXXAS /

Hope this Helps in your finding's PS friend request sent

Thank you guys for responding.

It's just that I want a little bit of both racing off road and a car that can take jumping as well.
I don't want no crazy big truck...

Thanks again...

One thing for sure, they are good looking RC Cars...

Thank man.

Any specific recommendation? What are you using now, after you gave him yours?

Revo is an alright jumper and run about car. Wouldn't say best racer but defo good fun and parts are easy to get. Lots of tuning/adjustability from stock. But I may Be a little bias... :P

I've got several trucks and I purpously bought the truck with the intention of giving it to him as an xmas present. He has quit a bit of land and has no problem building a track for me, him, and his son now that he has one himself.

If you like that type of vehicle have you looked at the RC10gt or Rustler? Associated and Traxxas are stocked in most hobby shops so parts are readily available. Also if your hooked on nitro like most of us thats great but trucks like the T4 or 22T are great electrics to consider. Any of the 4 listed above are considered a good investment for any noob. Good luck and keep us posted!!!
