Anyone know anything about the Picco "Monster P2" .21 (3.5cc ) medium block sized engine for the 2.5 T-maxx?

I read on the RCX site that it is supposed to be a direct bolt into the stock chassis. I can't seem to find out anything about availability or $$$.

According to the new issue of RCCA the price tag is $190

Mmmmm, How much of a noticable diff. would this motor be over my sirio .18

I'm sure some thats Prob like asking how much diff from the 2.5maxx motor to the sirio .18 huuu..

I believe there would be a differance would be significant over the Sirio. However, I would bet that that using the P2 will surely blow out the gears just like any other .21 in a maxx would. Installing it would be like doing the conversion without a new extended chassis.

Sirio has a claimed 1.9hp @ 40k rpm and the PS has a claimed 2.1hp @ ?rpm.....soooooo there's a .2hp increase.....but where is this power coming in to play? Being the larger block, I would think that there would be some more power down low....IMO the Sirio lacks a little bit down low, but makes up for it up top.
What I'd like to see is a dyno sheet to side-by-side compare the power curves of each engine.

Good Question. I dont think that .2HP would be worth it if thats all it trully is.

my sirio seems to have pleanty of grunt down low. It will willie No problem. etc.. and has a nice top end.. Id still like to pop in the turbo button and a turbo glow plug to see if theres a diff with that in.

FSTFBDY there is a small increase in performance with the turbo button and plug. I would suggest if you start to use the turbo button you also switch to 30% nitro for a little more added power down low. You'll like the difference....it isn't night and day or anything, but it's noticable.
