I got my RB on Friday night and got it broke in. Took it out for some tuning and some bashing. I am so glad I made the jump and bought this motor, it is awsome. If your even thinking about buying the 323 and have the money DO IT!!! I told myself when I bought the Revo I wanted to keep it stock and just have fun but I am glad I bought this. Only thing I want to do now is a wing and a new nicely painted body.

Now I am saving my coins for a RTR Jammin Truggy or a Hellfire, the damn R/C bug bit me hard.

I just read the thread above that was 219 for the kit, man I waaayyy overpaid for mine. $279 with tax from a hobbie store here in town.

Salmon, a lot of it has to with what surface you are running on, the tires and tire size you are using, and the gear ratios, both CB/spur and the trans gears.

Tighy, don't fret over the price, but next time post a new thread on what and where others have bought things so you can pre-shop through our experiences!

Dang, 219.00 for the total package is a steal of a deal. Anyone know where you can buy it for that, the only price I found was 239.00:ponder2:

Ray, both of those shops have rather crude websites, but just call them and they will have that price. They are two intense local competitors so they always have their prices match each other. Do I have to go to Rob's and take a cell phone pic for ya!?! :wasted:

Well now that you asked .... J/k :)

I'm glad I didn't order that tune pipe for my Revo since this motor already comes with a pipe. Now I just got to find a way to get a new motor past the wifey :ponder2:

Ray, I just told my wife it was a performance head (the big fat orange head it has on it)!

Out of control Ray lol

Damn lol

I may have a way of dealing it. I bought a used Tmaxx along with an Emaxx today using money from under the raidar. This is a very additive hobby lol Anyways, I just got the Tmaxx so I could fix it up and reslae it. Just looking for more experience you know. Then I'll sell both the Tmaxx and Mini T and use the money to buy the TM323 and MX3S. Who knows, it could happen lol The Emaxx will replace my son's Mini T...all though I'm a bit nervous ggiving that truck lol

Crazy Ray

Ray, deactivate the second gear on the E-Maxx until your son gets the hang of it.

Great idea, I was wondering what I could do to slow it down a bit.

Thanks
Ray

if you have a better radio than the stock one you can set the throttle EPA lower.....I think it would still limit the ESC from going full throttle

Plaid, on an ESC would lowering the EPA work? I never thought of that.

Nah, it's a stock Traxxas radio.

Just unscrewing the shift servo should work really well you think?

Edited to keep from futher hijacking the tread lol

Or unplug it from the Rx.

Back on topic, has anyone heard any horror stories about the life expectency of the RB 323? I have heard a couple.

what have you heard :depress: mine just came through the door i'm installing it tomorrow :ponder2:

On another board they are stating the engine has a short life, but then again it is two guys arguing which is better; the RB or the OS .18. The classic Ford vs Chevy thing. I have about 1.5 gals through mine and it just keeps getting better. If it dies, I might get a repinch by one of the better tuners and see what it does.
