Peak racing motor should do 30mph???

i read this and i was like what? i have the hpi battery pack right now and i dont think I'm hitten 30. i have a 12t pinion. what could i do to make this faster? i have the RTR kit just to let you know.

I clocked my Micro with 6 Cells and the HPI Mod Motor at 18mph. I then used a Big Block and clock my Micro at 26mph or less.

I don't think its possible to hit 30 on a 180 size motor. I'm sure you can with a BB/speed 300. Just get one of those dyno tuned and test 300 motors.

also a 14 toothe pinon with give you less off the line puch but it will give you a higher top speed and I think it sounds like that is what you are looking for.
