What would I need to get the sound from my pc to my tv, which are hooked up, but without HDMI?

Using HDMI would certainly be easier plus also let you put your PC display on your TV... which is what I've done with my home theater pc.

Otherwise you can use a headphone jack cable going from the PC to the TV, and if your TV doesn't have a headphone jack input then it will very likely have an RCA jack which you'll then also need an RCA adapter such as this one.

Yup. Just patch cords. Depending on the plugs on your TV, probably need a minijack to RCA type cord, or an adapter.

Ok thanks for the answers. I was going to use HDMI but my pc doesn't have it for some silly reason.

Not sure how old your PC is but if it has support for a PCI-Express card, then you could get Radeon HD 6450 video card with a HDMI port. I've used this exact card in the past and in fact it might be the one in my HTPC now (I don't remember). For playing movies, music, and light gaming it works perfectly!
