PayPal scam

I know this is a repost but I just wanted to thank you guys for getting the word out about this a while ago.I've been selling lots of stuff on Ebay lately and received an Email from "paypal" saying that they were updating their server or some bs and wanted me to sign into my account.Luckily I've read the posts here about this scam and deleted it without clicking on anything.If it wasn't for you guys I probably would have signed in and my PayPal account would have been emptied :censored:

Yeah those sneaky bastards tried to get me last month. If you ever have any doubt manually type in the address to the site they claim is being updated, the url that you normally use not the one they provided and sign in that way. Theirs will be something like this: www.disney.com if you scroll over you will see that the link they provided for you to click on is way different from the actual address.

Yea Its always a good Idea never to reply to any of those emails directly linking to the site. If I am not sure if the mail is real, I will go directly to the site from a new browser window and look there.

Guys, PayPal will always tell you to open a new browser window and type in their URL to ge to their site. It's good advice.

Same scam only about ebay a couple of months ago. They said something about issues and I needed to re-enter my password. I contacted ebay and they informed me that it was bogus. They did nail the neighbor lady who runs several online stores for an undisclosed amount. I poted a thread here but no one responded.
