paypal question

I sent a payment to a guy but I typed the email wrong, then cancelled it.
Under my history is shows the payment sent, and it also shows the cancellation and says its complete. But when I click details, it shows a hold has been put on it. Is this normal? How long does it take for it to get refunded?

PayPal is quick to take your money but SLOW to return it.

I cancelled on Wed and have not gotten the refund yet, I guess today is prolly technically the 3rd business day. Should I wait one more or should I call them?

Definitely call them. I had a hold on mine not long ago took literally 5 minutes to call and the guy removed it instantly.

I called yesterday and yep, took no time after that. Good on phone customer service.

I was quite suprised how good the customer service was on the phone. It was the first time i had ever had to contact paypal and i expected it to be a hassle.

I put off calling someone till the absolute last second, I hate the phone.

I had an Email discrepancy and never would have found out if i didn't call. They where just holding it for two weeks. So i waited a while just wish I wouldn't have.
