PayPal question.

Hey Guys,

If you have a positive balance in your ebay account and you go to make a purchase, will Paypal use your balance first, and then charge your card the remaining? Or do you have to tell it to use your balance? I want to make a purchase using my available balance first, and then have Paypal charge teh rest to my card. Does anybody know the answer to this? Thanks

It will always use your paypal balance first before using other sources unless you tell it otherwise.

That is what I thought too, but when I went to pay it gave me a credit card only as a payment option. The total didn't reflect the subtraction of the balance... if that makes any sense?

Yup, say you have $2 in your paypal account, and you make a $5 purchase. Paypal will spend that $2 and then pull the remainder from your primary funding source.
