more than likely their SSL certification expired, this is a good indicator that the website will also expire if they haven't renewed their subscription with the webhost and domain registration.... I would call them directly if you want to get straight answers, I suspect the OP is correct that Panther has been discontinued.


I quick search on google for Panthers address shows the company occupying that address now as Mortan Industries (plastic mold injection services) which has me wondering if Panther sold their equipment to them?

I’ve been dealing with Panther Products for over 20yrs, and absolutely love them.. The last order I made was about a year ago, and from them directly. They were going through some nonsense with their previous web designer, and were still in business, but unable to process, or take any type of payment through the website, or even over the phone..

I believe they have since thrown in the towel after not being able to do any business for almost a year.. I’m unable to find ANYTHING on them now.

If anyone has any info to that effect, or OTHERWISE-please do share.

Their number is also no longer in service, so given that, and all the rest of the red flags-I’d venture to say I’m correct, and they’ve since closed the doors.. No production for even a couple of WEEKS can seriously cripple a company that depends on it..

I’m gonna be watching eBay like a damned HAWK… I need one last set of Gator 1/8 buggy tires in soft… badly now that I found my damned Unobtainium buggy wheels… somebody HAS to have a set hiding SOMEwhere…

Nah-you’re good! Sometimes ya just need more eyeballs on the lookin’ around.. I’d say so unfortunately.. I may get lucky, and see someone dump some on eBay, or maybe find some old ones in an old hobby shop somewhere, ya never know.. Like we discussed-there are TONS of better tread patterns out today from other brands-I just had plans to duplicate this exact whl/tire combo IF I ever managed to locate the Hyper 8 wheels I finally came across last night after searching for 20yrs lol…

Now if JConcepts would just release their old Rulux truggy wheel in the current “buggy style” bead….

I won’t hold my breath on that, but maaaaan these looked, and performed KILLER..

I'd be so into Rulux truggy wheels reissue/rerelease! My Kraton would probably get a makeover. Rulux wheels being a favorite style wheel of all time. Mix that with my favorite tire of all time (Panther Step Pins)...

I'd love to see that happen. I've just got another mini truggy in route, and will probably end up going the medium compound SCT tire thing down the road.
