Can someone help me ?? I have a airbrush for painting bodies now but i don't know what kind of paints to use ?Can i use any model paint or do i have to use special paint ???Any Help would be nice...THNX.:jet:

You have to use paints especially made for lexan rc bodies. Pactra and Parma are probably the two biggest manufacturers of rc paints. You also have to decide if you want to go with laquer or acrylic. I prefer the acrylic, cleanup is much easier, and there are no fumes.

Pactra Acrylic

Pactra Laquer

Parma Fascolor Acrylic

Pactra paints are what I use. Sticks like snot. I use the laquer, but I like fumes......

Watch for water based paints. They are runny and can be difficult to work with.

Although I have seen some KILLER paint jobs with water based Faskolor.

So far all my shells have been in Faskolor. I have had no problems. Just make sure you lay it in light coats. It takes a little higher pressure to spray it, but it works well. I'm about to experiment with another paint from Creatix. It's available at craft stores and is a bit less expensive, but I understand it's the same formulation as Faskolor..
