If you are supposed to paint dark colors first, to keep them from darkening the light colors, what do you do if the majority is a dark color?

Good masks  On the clear lexan you paint from the backside then you don't mask off what's already painted. Therefore your dark can bleed through or alter the final shade of you light colors so you must do the darker colors first.

Is this for your aluminum body? If so,you'll be painting on the outside of the body so you can use conventional techniques.

No, this is for a lexan 07 Silverado for my Mutilator. Yea, I have too many projects. Anyway, it's already masked, I used Hobbico MasterMask liquid, 3 coats, about an hour to dry between coats, and like the container says, leave overnight to cure completely.

Since you are painting lexan, that actually makes it easier. Normally you just mask off your design only, then shoot the dark color. Then just paint the design, back it all, and your done. Since you already masked the entire body, just peel up the masking for the dark areas and shoot that color, then go to the next darkest color and so on until you are done.
