painting an aluminum boat

anyone have experience doing this? right now its bare metal and I'm turning it into a camo duck boat. I've been doing some research and it looks pretty complected. Aluminum epoxy etching primers, etc... any help is appreciated

I take an orbital sander to roughen up the aluminum for paint adhesion and some Krylon Fusion camoflage paint or flat rustoleum oilbases to do it..
