RC Driving Style
Thanks all who helped me out yesterday. Here it is. A little to pinkish but I got the effect I wanted. Maybe to much pearl, it didn't let the candy red come through enough but I'm happy for a 1st timer. I put more in the gallery;)

Good work. Looks nice and even. Doesn't look pinkish to me though.

Hate to say I told ya so... Been there, done that...
Light coats of pearl first, multiple coats of red backed with silver or black...
Looks good though...
 
I used 3 coats of white pearl, 3 coats of candy red, & 3 coats of white in that order. I was told to back it with silver but i had the white. Most likley would'of been darker with the silver but thats ok. As I said I'm learning. I had an idea. Has anyone instead of testing scrap pieces painted the outside of the body in patches with the protective covering still on, look on the inside to see how it looks, then painting the inside when you have it right & just peeling off the protective cover afterwards?? uh-just a thought
