Heres the deal, one of my buddies has an airbrush and doesn't now how to use it and doesn't plan on learning. He told me anytime I want to try to let hime know and I can use it. My Question is .....Can you get that lexan paint anywhere other then a hobby shop? My lhs is about 6 hrs away, would a autoparts store carry that kind of stuff? One other question are there any other paints that stick to lexan or other paints that can be used as practice?

I'm a total noob when it comes to painting so take it easy on me. :shy:

You can always get some lexan paint on ebay, Hobbie Guy RC and RC Boyz both have great prices, even with the shipping on their paints. Only use paint made for lexan, and go with a water based paint if you can. I prefer the Pactra Acryl over an other paint. If you have a Michaels arts and crafts near you, you could try Createx paint. I have not tried it yet myself but I have heard it works well too.

Check for a paint called Createx at a craft store near you. AC Moore. Michaels. It is basically the same as Parma Faskolor. But buy some of their adhesion promoter if they have it. Faskolor is basically Createx with adhesion promoter added. You can thin it a bit with water and it should spray just fine. Createx also makes a paint called Auto Air which is a lacquer formula I believe which works well on polycarbonate but takes a bit more to clean up.
