I'm about to paint a new body with Pactra Fiery Orange Metallic. Someone told me to use Pactra Indy Silver to back it with because the color will pop a bit better. Is this the way to go or should I be using black? Thanks

Lay on a bunch of thin coats or just one coat? I'm trying to get it to look like the orange ano on the Baja SS.

well you want to let the orange coat dry for a good while.. maybe at least an hour.. then go with thin coats.. i treid it before and i didnt let the primary coat dry enough.. and it bled through

A few good thin coats are better than a single heavy coat.If you have any doubts on how a particular color system looks, you can always do a test sample on some scrap lexan or an old 2 liter soda bottle. Be sure to wash the 2 liter bottle well before painting it.
