wow that is insane. how long does it take you to complete one of those?

It all depends. Spongebob took an insane amount of time, the most time I have ever put in to any body. I actually lost count of how many hours I had in that one. The KISS body took a good amount of time too. But I won't rush one, I would rather turn down someone for a paintjob that is in a hurry. I don't force dry my paints with a hair dryer, I won't do the next coat or color until the previous one is dried and backed properly. I am just not gonna rush them, because it will show in the final product.

Do you do micro lids?

I will. They are actually more difficult to do than a 1/10 or 1/8 lid, especially for an intricate paint scheme. It's just so much more difficult and time consuming to get the same detail in the small bodies. About the smallest I will paint are 1/18, 1/16 scale. I aint messing with micro t bodies, lol.

When I got that lid, I couldn't think of any other paintjob for it other than old school flames.

What is hard to see in the pics are the chrome accents, black tipped bullets on the bumpers, and the chrome trim.

I was really pleased with the overall look of that one, as was it's new owner :D

NCNitro, that was a kick butt tutorial. I think I'm gonna do a classic "herbie" theme for my daughter's car. Keeping it simple!
