After alot of internet searching and RCNT post' searching I have decided to go with the OS#8 glow plugs. I have spent so much on plugs lately trying to find the right one. Hot, cold, medium....I have them all. I understand things better thanks to some of the posts/links many of you have provided. The two plugs that keep coming up in conversation are the OS#8 and the McCoy 59. I'm not knocking any of the other ones, it's just so many folks have had great success with these two. If the price is any indication of how good a plug is, then the OS#8 should be a winner. As far as the McCoy 59', they are impossible to find around here. The LHS's are always out of them. Must mean something huh ? I know I can get a better deal on the internet, but in preps for the weekend I had to resort to my LHS and pay $7.99/piece for them.
If anyone can recommend a good website for the OS plugs, that would be great.

You might also try Fox Gold series plugs. I know Debbie's carries McCoy and Fox, and am pretty certain they carry OS plugs. They usually have plenty on hand. You may want to give them a try if your LHS is anyplace other than there.

I've got some bash buddies that run the Tower Power plugs and they VERy happy with them. I picked up 20 new O.S. #8's for $50.00 the other day. THe guy probably stole them but who else is gonna buy glow plugs from a crackhead.:breakdown

I love O.S.#8's but they can be expensive.

Both are good plugs and can be used for diff things and some engines run fine on both. Run some diff plugs, it's always fun to test. McCoy's are hard to find because I would dare to say that it is the most popular plug in nitro, but I have noe info to back that claim.

I don't know if the MCoy's are most popular plugs in the hobby but I love em and they sell like hotcakes around here but the LHS's always have those two packs of #9's in stock.
