Spent 6 hours testing and tuning my YD2 SX3 had 2-3 other excellent and experienced drifters helping me. Could not get it to where it should be. Our final conclusion is that the rear end cannot get enough grip due to the transmission design. The transmission lays down on the chassis whereas most other chassis’s have them up and down making it so the battery can mount further to rear and also allowing you to mount the motor further back to add extra weight on the rear suspension. Chatted with a few people and made a AWESOME trade! Fully option MST RMX 2.5 with rare and extremely hard to get discontinued parts. Cannot wait for this rig to arrive on Thursday! May have gotten a new body for it as well🤫😉
Happy to have a red build in the collection😀

So you couldn't put a little stickier tire on it?

Man I really love that red! Thanks for inspiration for my next build 😁
I do too! Wish I could say I built it but I can’t, nothing wrong with that though. Definitely keep us updated on the build if you start it!

Well I've got it planned out. Got a thread going with updates. My chassis is in Hong Kong right now! Need my E-revo sold first! Before I go all out on my chassis I am doing a crap load of body work

They do actually! Yokomo themselves makes them. Although I never thought to look or try them I do kinda wish I did now that you mentioned it. The wheel weights did cross my mind but when it comes down to it I think it would trigger my OCD and I just wouldn’t be happy. I’ve got probably 10-12 hours of testing and tuning the YD2 and unfortunately came out unsuccessful. However, I do know how capable the MST I am receiving is and the buddy I traded with is beyond stoked to get the YD2 so overall I think I’m happier going the route I went.
