do i need a different one way bearing to use a pull start on my hpi 3.0?
currently have a roto start 3.0 and bought the 1428 (recommended part) pull start and the one way bearing is too big and the pull start will not fit?

What do i need? different pull starter? or a different bearing and backplate?

I'm just guessing that you need to purchase the bearing that goes with that pull starter. Maybe that roto was made by someone other than the engine manufacturer and it's not the same bearing that the engine had originally. ??? Not sure.

The engine i have it the t3.0 and i ended up with a g3.0 starter. So back to ebay :)
