hard.. some guys will cut PVC pipe and put on the wheels in place of the tires.
drifting with nitro is hard to do. the engine doesn't get a good airflow, and will run hot.

mine has the whole windshield and everything cut out
 
You could have the whole body off the car and it will still run hot. PVC tubing is the best way I've heard of.
 
to detune my traxxas jato 3.3, i put 3 .400mm head gaskets on. it still runs good, and the power loss is not great, still enough to spin foam tires, although less spin. iam hopeing the heat will be less. i was running it hard today, checked the temp it was not to hot.
