  1. Bashing
I never did have good luck with them. They were not the first gen ones, they were the second ones with the slide carb. The history on the 3 I had when I got them was they were all used, "properly" broken in, and less than a gallon of fuel thru them. I had the local guru at the LHS check a couple of them out, he said they felt good. Starting them was easy enough, they ran alot easier than the 2.5s I was tinkering with before. My complaint was they used excessive fuel, ran hot(like 325* one trip up the block) no matter where I had the HSN set, and were dead within a quart or less of fuel. I had lots of smoke comin from the pipe. I used an IR temp guage, and the truck(s) were ran up and down the street racing, and occasional bashing. I ran Traxxas 20% fuel, Sirio header, and the big bore pipe. I must be stupid, or was abusing the motor, or maybe I was stupid? I plan on getting the sleeves pinched and putting the motors back into service, and or selling them eventually.

Well, if you end up selling them (pre or post re-pinch), I may be interested in one. I never had one, but I do know they were touchy. Shouldn't be too hard getting one to run in a jato with decent temps considering how light the rig is. That's what I'd want one for.

If they got that hot that easily the LSN was too lean or you have a leak somewhere.
Revo exhausts and fuel tanks are prone to leaking. You have to keep a close eye on them.

These motors were run in a Tmaxx, prior to the release of the Revo. Once I got my Revo (first shipment to the LHS) my Tmaxxes mostly got sidelined, unless I had friends over for a bash session. I rekon this time around I will use a small dab of silicone around leak prone areas to assure there are fewer leaks this time around.
