Checked Tower, Horizon, Ace, Nitro House and a few others, who the hell carries the XB8 and what's it gonna set me back?

Lols,
I got em all on the way dood,, anyone else that wants them drop me a p.m. or an email [email protected] feel free to do so...
anyone that wants to preorder/prepay for one, I will set you up with a better price than even the mushroom can do(plus no crazy 60-70 dollar shipping price), plus I'm here in the U.S. , and I priority mail ship, so you get them a couple days after i get them....
It's the car I'm going to run next so you can expect to have parts availability right here.
I expect the kits and the parts to be here around next week so if you sent out payment now it'd line up with when they arrive, so if you want the address & price, drop me an email or p.m so you can get them first......

good to hear you will have spare parts in stock Will. lets hope that i dont need too many. i finished up my breakin on the V-spec, and OH MY GOD. i used the breakin method that you posted (heatcycles, drive imidiately), it worked beautifully. that mill combined with the JP-1 pipe is just disgusting fast, and at only 215*! it was even still gurgling a little at that temp. i leaned it out to about 235* for about half a tank just to see what she could do and it was unreal. peg the gas and the front tires instantly balloon up and it rockets off, this was even on blacktop, i havent had it on the track yet. a great motor for this buggy. i riched it up a bit after that and ill leave it there for a while till i get some more runtime on it, then ill lean it out a bit again. I'm "almost" sorry i didnt wait for the US shops to get the buggy in, but I'm an impulse buyer and i HAD to have it when i got it.

haha, lolz, sounds like you might have to go up to that 100k center diff weight for that monster ....

-Wm-

yup, i will most likely go to 10k in the center. ill have to see how it handles on the dirt since thats where it counts. i also forgot to mention. those speeds were with 20% trinity monster fuel. i already have the extra shim in it, as i intend to run 30% once i have some more time on it. so those speeds were with less than intended nitro and lower compression. it only gets faster from here, i can't wait............

you might want to stick with that same percentage of fuel,,, and adjust the shimming to suit that motor is recommended @ 20% nitro usage,,,,, since changing up nitro percentages is a sure way to shorten up a motors life. the internals get acclimated to a certain temperature flux or time it reaches operating temps, whether that be faster(30%) or slower (below the 20% you've been using), then the metals change op. temp at a different rate, it gets "cranky" and is more prone to develop leaks.
also highly recommended,,,, keep with the same brand of fuel that was used to break it in on and keep with that fuel througout the motors life.. ,, the only change for that brand of fuel is,, you can use powermaster fuel ( that's the actual manufacturer or trinity's platinum blend fuels)..but that's if you've been using the platinum blends so far...

more blah blah blah from will,, hahah...

ok, so i should remove that shim and just continue to run the 20% monster horsepower, or can i switch to platinum after this gallon is used up? i prefer to run 30% in all my motors and like to keep as few types of fuel on hand as possible. so if i change should i do it now? or can i use up the rest of this gallon first and then do a mini breakin with the new nitro % same brand fuel?

HiReZ do you have a web site for you shop? I know you have a site for your boddies, but do you have one for the shop you work at?

Myself, & a couple of other Mods have dealt, spoken with & completed transactions with Will (Hirez).. He is a standup guy and keeps great communication. An added bonus in dealing with Will, is that he is also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Racing & R/C in general...

I need a little help on finding the XB8 I know RC Mushroom has them but I can't find a phone number and I like to call my orders in. Does any know if they even take orders over the phone or anywhere else that has the XB8.

ola, hi, wassap, DRINK!!! ,,,
Sorry guys just messing around,, yep vbgagnon I'm starting to put the www.rcpit.net site together now,, yes yes, I know I'm supposed to update my bodies site, but hey, I'm thinking oompaloompas will come and take care of that for me someday...

for now, infos on the "Pit" site to contact by email or phone,, drop me a line ask whateva you want.
no b.s. just straight up answers, we all race, so we have a little insight as to the goals of everyone, and we for sure take the cars out to the moto-x tracks and try and break as many parts as possible to, so we can help there also..
anyways I'm shuttin up, please smack me. *grin*..

Ebay is your best bet for now. I gave $625 shipped from Hong Kong for mine. Got it in 3 days in perfect condition.

I spoke to Will on the phone 2 days ago. I was told they are hanging out in a container to be cleared bu customs. In this day and age post 9-11 who knows how long that can be.

I'm not in any hurry and prefer to buy from a local vendor / forum member so ill hang for a while. Its good to know that they are available from another reliable source as well.

FRB, Can you post a link to the site or the E-Bay user name Incas others don't want to hang for a while?

FastEddy did you preorder yours from rcpit? If so do you know what the price is and when they are expecting them I am thinking I'm just gonna order from there if the price is right and wait.

i remember reading Will said he would meet or beat the ebay prices shipped. i paid $620 shipped for mine from rl725 or something on ebay. if you do a search for "XB8" I'm sure you will come up with quite a few of his auctions. so far I've beat the crap out of mine on the track a few times and in the back yard. nothing broken and no issues have come up yet. for anyone that does get the kit, you MUST set the rear downstops. if you dont you will get binding at full droop in the universals, and some people have broken shock pistons. those who have setup thier car properly havent seen any problems. ill see what i can do in the next week or 2 about getting you guys some video.

Bwa-hahaha,,, ok talked to "the man"... and customs is getting taken care of as of this morning.... and they should have them in, then checked in,, and be going back out the door to me by this Friday.. holy bejeebish, I think I'm getting excited...
Price on the rcpit.net website is 625.00 priority shipped to anyone who frequents it,, no auctions, no haggling , just straight up a great price,,
I need to talk to the mods here, but anyone pre-ordering and mentioning " the RcNitroTalk boards" will definately get a few more bucks off, and the very max you'd pay is 620.00 shipped. (yep paypal is now hooked up also).
Anyone that calls or emails and mentions the board here, for sure needs a hook-up as you guys are always the most chill group of RC'ers I deal with, don't forget it,, youz rock....
I need one of these also, as the 50 milliionth anual DeltaRc Iron man competition is coming up the whole weekend of the 15th,, and I need a couple days to assemble my arsenal... onroad,offroad,dirt-oval and onroad touring events all in one weekend,,,,,,hmmm, I wonder who the new Iron-Man wil be this year.....

Will you rock! :duff: for you man. can you post the # for your Pit so i can phone in orders if i break something and so others can get thier orders in? for anyone thats ordering one, may i recommend the new OS V-spec. makes for an insane combo, and from what I've read on S-grid people are getting great life out of them (7.5 gallons so far). ill try to get some video of this weekend when jeff and i go racing. one last ? Will. whats your average going rate for a buggy body? i have a neat idea that i have nowhere near the skills to even think about painting.
