ofna violator

Local craigslist has someone selling their ofna 9.5 violator.

I have been looking for a 1/8th buggy so I have something that will do off-road better than my jato.

From the pictures it looks clean, comes with spare parts and new tires, as well as another engine that is said to be working. (Doesn't say what kind it is.)

Just wanting to know if there are any big reasons to stay away from the violator, or if the force .32 has issues I should know about.

After a quick look on ebay, a lot of listings show parts as violator/ravager, are a lot of things interchangeable?

I used to have one and beat it to death and it never failed to keep on going. IMHO good little basher

I have an OFNA MBX 9.5 and while it is an older basher I still love to play with it. Its not race worthy these days but fun The Violator is an MBX 9.5 Pro variant. The only major difference in the MBX 9.5 and the MBX 9.5 Pro is the Pro uses a C-hub instead of PBS. I'm not familiar with the Force .32 so I can't comment on that. A good place to get replacement parts for OFNAs is www.nitrohouse.com as well as eBay.

Heres a couple of pics and a short running vid of mine. I modded it so I could use my Dynamite .26 w/rotostart backplate from my LST2 that I converted to electric and put a 18T clutchbell on it. This works well but the bigger nitro engine was draining the small fuel tank very quickly so I added a second fuel tank to it in parallel.

Its so fast I couldnt even WOT it where I was playing at.
