So i bought a parts lot a while back and got a tank that i had no idea what it was recently found out it is a Ofna Violator tank and want to run it now. What is the easiest way to fit it on a tmaxx 2.5 chassis and the tank is used and is green on the inside why is this?

The easiest way to mount the violator tank is to move/remove the stock battery box and install the tank in its place. Most will delete the box and strap the battery to the front shock tower or install the box elsewhere.
If you have the mounting post for the tank the rear leg will align with the hole for the battery box and you then drill another hole in the chassis for the front leg. If you do not have the mounting posts, 2 TMaxx steering posts or similar work well.

There are quite a few different ways/locations to install the tank, it is up to you to decide where and how much reconfiguration of the chassis you want to do.

If you mean the tank is stained green on the inside that is usually due to the dye in the fuel that was being used.

I don't know how big the violator tank is but I run the proline runtime tank of my 1.5 and its a direct bolt on. It has the same mounting holes and everything but the tank is 25% larger than stock. I know the violator tank is kinda free from your parts lot but the proline tank is way easier to install.

The proline tank still tends to have the half tank lean issue like the stock tank. This is due to the shape of these tanks needing to accomodate the EZ start motor.

I've had no problems at all last season but I've heard of this happening.
