JUS CURIOUS IF ANYBODY HAS THE OFNA VIOLATOR 9.5.JUS LOOKN FOR FEEDBACK ON THEM.I WAS THNKN BOUT GETTN ONE.

p.s. no i wasn't yelln,srry bout the caps,i was to lazy 2 retype it after i noticed.

I've heard that they are fast and durable as hell , due to ofna they are like wider and faster , so i would say its a coolness factor of like 8.5 out of 10 :))) later dude

My friend got one.

It looks cool. It's less then an inch wider then a normal buggy, but for some reason it LOOKS a lot wider. The extra 10cc in the fuel tank really makes a difference too.

It has the shaft-start thing. My friend is new to this stuff, and managed to burn this thing out the first time he used it. Now, I did tell him not to lay down on the thing because it's a new engine and stuff but I think he did anyways.

I'd be careful about the shaft start thing. If you have a starter box, use that until the engine is broken in.

thats partly why i was gonna get that violator rtr kit,kuz it cums w/the roto start.i use them on my savage and hotbodies lightning street also.i only hav one hand and its alot easier than tryn 2 pull start it,not to mention "no more blissssterzzz"

thnx 4 ur input tho.

I got one. I'd give it a 9 out of ten. I really beat it hard nothing has broken that should not have do to my own fault. It is fast as hell. The stock clutch went fast but added a fioroni sliding clutch. I love the thing nut its not race legal. If you plan on racing look at the pcr rtr or pcr pro

thnx

no i dont plan on racing unless its w/sum1 else.i wasn't sure how fast it would be since its only a single speed transmission.thats the one il probly end up goin with. thnx lefty:bow:

It's just as fast as any other Ofna buggy that comes stock with the Force 26 =)

It's a decent stock motor and I'm sure you'll be happy with it's performance.

Buggies aren't generally designed with ridiculous amounts of speed in mind. Even if it were a 2 speed, on most tracks there's simply not enough runway to make use of it, and it'll just get in the way. They are designed with lots and lots of torque and low end power in mind, so you can quickly get up to speed after a corner, up a ramp, etc. Off road man! Yea!

I saw them race they are preety cool buggies. They are pretty durable too. But i dont have one so i dont know all of the facts....Nick

The Ofna Violator 9.5 would be the perfact choice for you because you are not going to race.It has a larger feul tank soi you can bash longer.

To Buy Or Not To Buy

Hey I've Had Mine 4 2 Weeks Now And Let Me Tell You This Buggy Is Tough As Nails I've Beat The Living poop Out Of It And Havent Spent More Than 30.00 On It If You Want A Fast Reliable Buggy Get This 1.:cheerful: :cheerful: :cheerful:

I've had mine for almost 2 weeks and I love it. I chose it because of the shaft start system, although there were other reason's, that was huge.

Lot of people that are new to shaft systems break them, which I don't get... It'll be fine as long as you don't hydro-lock the engine. Even usuing 2400 and 3000 batteries in mine it hasn't had a problem. Use a hairdryer to heat up the engine for a few minutes before you start it the first few times, it makes it much easier on everything  . The shaft that comes with the ofna unit is too short for the savage BTW.

il probly end up gettn one.i hav 2 differnt roto starts for my other vehicles so I'm used to using them, thats also y i was lookn into the violator bkuz it cums set up w/one.iv never had any problems w/my roto start. thnx, glad to hear the good comments about this buggy. later-lefty
