Ofna temp gauge?

I had to take the tc3 out, the neighborhood was a little quiet and I wanted to annoy the neighbors,this time I took the ofna temp gauge out with me, does any one else own one of these this yet? I am not too sure of its acuracy or if I am just doing some thing wrong, I was getting readings from 190 to 460, yup you read that right 460!, I did the water drop test on this last reading and it didnt even sizzle, I know its not running that hot, I hold the gauge a inch or so from the tip of the plug and get a different read every time, what the &^%(???

is there a celsius/farenheit button?

I sure hope it was in Farenhiet mode, because 460* in Celsius would be a little on the warm side.

If you did the water test and it didn't sizzle, then the temp gauge is off.

Did it come with a manual?
You may need to calabrate it.

yes, its was in farenhiet mode, not sure about the calibration, will check, thanks!
