My Dad bought one of these engines off of ebay. I need help figuring out what clutch nut he needs to use. Here is a picture of the engine. I took the thick silver piece behind the tappered cone off.

does he need to use this one?

or this one?

thank you for the help.

It has a real short shaft. I put one of my clutch assemblies on it and it covered almost the whole shaft.

Yep. It's a standard threaded crankshaft. You need one of these: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXABA2&P=7
Or one like it. I'm not sure of the thread size though. I don't know if it's the same as 15 sized engines or not. But you need one that will support a 21 sized clutchbell. They are thicker front to back which requires a longer stub.

Wish I could be more help... But I've never had a 21 engine that didn't have a SG pilot type shaft.

BTW, I found a parts explosion/manual for that engine: http://www.ofna.com/pdf/eng-picco21-sport.pdf
