ofna picco 26 whats the best temp that the engine should be at.

Just put in a ofna picco 26 in my xtm mammoth. I had a losi 427 gold head in it before but that broke the connecting rod. This ofna seams to be running kind of hot. After warm, up its running at like 180- 200. Thats after about like a few minutes. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

180 & 200 is a good temp to be running!..

180 is too cold imo. 230-250 is optimal.

I agree that 180 is really to much on the cold side. I usually shoot for 220-280F depending on engine and tune.

Yeah I shoot to keep the temps under 270. i usually preheat my motors to 220 before each use as well
