hello everyone, this is my first question! I have a t-maxx 2.5, it has a O.S 18cv-r engine in it, well i just got offered a ofna picco 21 sport, it has roto start and everything, i was wondering if i should get it, will it be a direct fit onto my t-maxx? is it better than the os 18 cvr? should i get it or should i pass?
thanks,
Shane

If it's not the .21 picco max it will not be a direct fit. I had a .21 picco max at one point, it was ok but not what I expected. If your getting real cheap it might be worth it.

Edit: I just looked the Picco sport and it is a big block, you would need a big block kit to use it.

You can find it here

well in that case i might just pass on it, i looked around and the bigblock kit is 80 bucks!, does that sound right? thanks for the info smaxxin!
Shane

The BB kit for the Maxx is expensive, $80.00 sounds about right. I have seen used kits on eBay for less but the listings are not alway clear on the parts that you get...It would suck to buy a kit and find out it's missing one little part that can't be bought separate.

What engine are you running now?

right now i am runing an os 18cvr, i havent even ran it yet, i just got the truck in a trade and the pullstart on it is bad and i am going to replace it with some type of roto start, but i have a min lst for sale and a guy offered me that picco so i was just trying to get some info on it and see if i should do the trade,
Shane
