Also Imroken, what rims are you usin? The ones you have are not like the ones I have in my kist. Nor are the tires. I am also looking to make sure there are not any things I need to know BEFORE I assemble this kit. I am going to get a 645MG for my throttle and a 5945mg for steering. Thats all I know I want to do so far. any opinions or warnings I should know about?

I am running a set of Premounted Ofna Avenger tires that I found on Ebay. The stock wheels & crimefighters that came with the kit, will be going on Msly's Storm Pro... I kinda liked the look of the Avengers.. lol

OK, as far as warnings... The directions suck ass... The bags of parts aren't marked, and the pictures in the manual dont always match up with the parts they give you... lol Patience will be the key, during this build... Also, because of missing parts, I was forced to set it up with C-hub suspension in the front, & Pivot Ball in the rear. You will need Diff Silicone Oil...
I used:
Front - Kyosho #5000 Silicone Oil
Rear - Kyosho #3000 Silicone Oil

You will find that the shock springs (both colors) are too soft... I changed to the:
Ofna (white) Hard Springs

I also picked up a Hump pack w/JR switch & charge lead.

As for Servos... I'm using the:
HS-645MG - Steering
HS-625MG - Throttle/Brake

I also picked up an 1/8th scale Motorsaver Air filter...
Thats all I can think of at the moment.... Hope that helps ya out. If you have any questions, or need pics during your build, give me shout...

What about glo plug length? My non P/S 21 8 port came w/o a plug? I have been using MC-59 and the MC-9 for cooler weather on my MGT and it runs great. Does it require a Long plug or shorty?

Thanks

Jon

I've been running OS #8's in my Hyper 8 port with great success.... Just remember to loosen the plug before trying to fire it up for the first time... When it starts, snug her back down... I found my mill hard to pull without a plug installed...lol

well I don't think that will be an issue with me as I have the Non pull start. Lol Now I just need the ofna starter box. I think they make one specifically for the buggies!
