Evenin all, I'm runnin an Ofna Force .32 and it runs great at first using a medium/hot plug and 20% fuel. I can run for over a tank of fuel and then when I go to restart it, fuel will spit out the exhaust pipe and won't start unless I let it cool for quite a bit and also clear the plug and cylinder. Temps seem to climb slow but sure until the engine just quits, temps in the high 200's. I see a steady trail of blue smoke when on the throttle and have also resealed the engine.

Would a colder plug help? Any suggestions on controlling an apparent heat issue? Tks.

With 20% try a hotter plug in order to burn off the higher methanol content. Also you may be a bit too rich and too much fuel is flooding the head. You only need a cold plug when running a higher nitro % than 25.

Also 200 seems low for a running temp. So I'm pretty sure your just flooding the engine from running too rich. Tune for performance and use temps only as a reference. The fluid coming from your exhaust is just unburned oil from the fuel. Its normal.

Thanks all,I was under the impression that you ran a colder plug when the ambient temps were high (84 degrees here now). Plug selection has always confused me. I will try leaning it out a bit as I have to go back to factory settings to get it to start after it messes up then cools down.
