Ohh crap I just seen the weather report - what are we going to do? I don't have an R/C boat.

Chris had his Savvy in the mud last year at the bash. HMMM, as for tires, not sure. Ratzo? They trucked in some dirt to redo it this year, Chris said that Dirty harrys or Woops would work, I am just going to bring my Crimes and Rippers, and a used up set of KII's.

Well my trip off off to a great start.
I sent my X-Ray UPS over a week ahead of time to make sure it got there on time. I packaged it in bubble wrap along with my M-8 inside a plastic bin box, cushioned with foam rubber all the way around.

Went to track it this morning and this is what I found..........
I ship well over 100 sometimes up to 300 packages a day and have never had this happen. WHY ME!!!!!!

Ahhh! I hate I'm having to miss this! You fellas have yourselves a grand 'ol time, come hell or highwater! Like Digger said, someone take some pic's and post 'em here! I especially want a shot of Wood kicking NCNitro in the uterus!

Even if the box was totally destroyed, short of the UPS truck running it over, everything should be fine. I way over packaged it with foam and bubble wrap.

I bubble wrapped the buggy then wrapped it in soft foam rubber. From there I taped the foam around the buggy. From there, I did the same with my radio (In a foam radio case. From there I taped the two foam rubber sub units together then put them in the box. All in all it’s got 4-6 inches of foam all the way around. I just hope they cracked the plastic box and decided it was too bad to ship to the receiving address. I also insured it for 2K :D

I think my runaway was caused by the radio or module.
I turned on the power to the buggy, and had the same results.
Changed the radio's battery too.
Next, I will put the old 75 MHz module and receiver and see what I get.
If the radio gear works with the 75 MHz module (I think I sold all the rx), then it might be the spectrum module.

If I can't get to the bottom of this, I'm out for the race.
I'll still go, and will supply the ez up and table for Woodie.

Well I switched cars (same problem), so it wasn't the receiver.
I found a full set up for 75 mhz and see if the system works. If yes, It's the spectrum module, if it's still glitchy, then it's the radio.
Either way, it's either gonna be a $150 fix, or $350 for a new radio.
Neither of my local hobby shops have either in stock, and they wont have it by Saturday.
Basically I might be fugged!

Sounds like you and Ed will be hearing these words at the track...."Hurry up and flip my rig beeeoootch!".
